How to read these listings: profiles summarise provider-published information reviewed on 15 October 2026, not recommendations or rankings. Claims about qualifications, insurance, response times and service coverage have not been independently certified by this directory. Confirm prices and availability directly. Check professional membership via the BPCA search or NPTA.
Side-by-side view

How this directory works
We include a provider when its own public website names Cardiff or explicitly says it serves the city. Listings are not ranked by payment, star ratings or marketing claims.
For this review we recorded each provider’s published service types, premises, coverage, visible pricing approach and credential claims. We did not find a comparable current private price list for every provider, so council rates are shown separately as a public benchmark—not a like-for-like quote.
What to do next: ask two or three providers for a written plan specifying inspection, treatment, visit count, proofing advice, aftercare and full cost. Check the provider’s coverage and credentials for your particular job.
Provider webpages reviewed 15 October 2026. This independent directory is not affiliated with Cardiff Council, BPCA, NPTA or any provider listed.
A useful local benchmark
For some residential treatments, the council publishes fixed prices and visit counts. This can help you compare like for like with a private quote.
See Cardiff Council's serviceCouncil information checked 15 October 2026. Confirm directly before making a decision.
Check bedbug and cockroach availability. The council page currently says it cannot treat these in residential properties, even though its price table still lists rates for them.
Commercial rodent treatment is listed at £85 for the first hour, then £42.50 per additional half-hour. The council requires a minimum of three visits for commercial properties.
Make a confident comparison
Different properties and infestations need different approaches. A clear quote should tell you what is included, and what happens next.
Ask whether the price covers an inspection, treatment, follow-up visits and advice on preventing the problem returning.
Check for call-out charges, extra visits, property-size limits and whether VAT is included. Get the plan and total cost in writing.
Ask which qualifications and insurance the technician has. You can check whether a business is a BPCA member using the association's own search.

Start with the clues and questions that help you describe the problem accurately when you contact a provider.
Note where and when you noticed signs, and whether they are indoors, outdoors or near food storage. Keep children and pets away from suspected activity and avoid handling droppings or bait. Ask the provider whether inspection, repeat visits and proofing advice are included.
Do not approach, disturb or block the entrance to an active nest. Tell the provider where the wasps are entering and whether the nest is inside a wall, roof space or garden structure; access can affect the quote.
If it is safe to do so, take a clear photo from a short distance and note the room or location. Some insects are harmless or need a different response. Vale Pest Control says it offers photo-based identification; Cardiff Council also provides advice for some pests it does not treat.
